Sledding in the Keweenaw

No winter activity exemplifies the ideals of Keweenaw Free Guide as much as sledding, a past time enjoyed by all and requiring little more then a piece of plastic and a hill to participate. Faster and more exhilarating then snowshoeing while cheaper then down-hill skiing, sledding provides the best of both worlds - granted the presence of suitable hill. Though not numerous in number, the Keweenaw's selection of sled hills provide a wide range of grades and runs to satisfy any taste.


Hancock Central High School (Hancock)
