The Copper Range Railroad - This site by the late Kevin Musser goes into great detail of the history of the Copper Range Railroad. He also has a great collection of older photos on his site.
Copper Country Reflections - Chuck Voelker has assembled over 1,000 vintage photos related to the Copper Country on his website. There's a little something for everyone to enjoy (mines, people, towns, etc.).
Houghton County Historical Society - This society runs the historical museum in Lake Linden and their website shows what they have to offer.
Michigan Tech Archives - If you are in the area, you can visit the Archives at Michigan Tech and browse through their extensive historical library. Or, you can spend time reviewing the scanned images online.
Keweenaw County Historical Society - This society has a visitor's center and different locations you can visit. Check out their website for more info.
Copper Country Explorer - This blog takes current remains of the history of the Copper Country and brings it back with historical context. The site is written by Mike Forgrave, who is also an author at Keweenaw Free Guide.

Michigan Nature Association - This organization is protecting Black Creek Sanctuary, Estivant Pines, James Rooks Sanctuary, Keweenaw Shore Preserve, Redwyns Dunes, Robert Thorson Brown Sanctuary and Upson Lake Sanctuary - as well as others throughout Michigan.
Gratiot Lake Conservancy - This organization is protecting the Gratiot Lake Sanctuary.
